![]() ![]() Glycolic acid, citric acid, and lactic acids are very common AHAs in skincare. The Renew formulation utilizes AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) to ‘gently’ peel (read as exfoliate) the topmost layer of skin. This is a biphasic (2-phase) serum made up of a Renew and a Repair formulation. ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS (ROSEMARY) LEAF EXTRACT.So first lets check out the ingredients list for this. For an overview of the effects of honey in skincare check out my last post: Honey in Skincare So 70% off the original $215 price tag gives me $150.50 to work with. Like most people I simply don’t have the budget to be able to drop that kind of cash on a serum when I still have the rest of my skincare routine to consider. But at $215 my credit card wouldn’t exactly enjoy that. I’ve read reviews and those with dry and dehydrated skin have said the addition of this has helped. ![]() I’ve actually really wanted to get my hands on this particular product. That being said, for me personally this one admittedly wasn’t quite as revolutionary or game-changing as I had hoped haha.Back with another dupe alert. It’s quite a gentle formulation so I do believe it would probably be best suited for sensitive skin types. Soo Beauty’s baby! □ I don’t have too much experience with regular use of toner pads before this tbh but I do feel like this one is a good, reliable option. My first experience with retinol, but yet another one I’m on the fence about □ I don’t think this made much of a difference for me even after getting through the entire bottle… so I’m on the hunt for something more effective! If you have any good retinol recs, please send it my way □Ħ️⃣ □□□ □□□□ □□□□ □□□ □□□□ □□□□□ □□□ This is supposedly a dupe for the cult famous Paula’s Choice BHA… which I have not tried, but if I’m being honest I’m a little undecided on this one. The texture is lovely, it feels plush on the skin and deeply hydrating without being too heavy or sticky at all. There’s something about honey in skincare that my skin just seems to love, and this particular moisturizer felt like such a good match for my oilier skin type as well. This actually is a high-end moisturizer that my skin enjoys, and it’s a repurchase and second tub for me. Honestly I don’t have much to say about this one cos it was pretty underwhelming and didnt leave much of an impression on me… There’s nothing particularly special about this cleanser and it didn’t seem to keep my oils at bay all too much either. It just melts so nicely into the skin and leaves it looking moisturized but not greasy at all! (I have oily-dehydrated skin as well) Also I’m not sure if it’s because of the skincare properties it contains, but I swear when I remove my makeup at the end of the day, my skin somehow feels smoother if I had this on underneath. The sunscreen that took the world by storm! I know there are a handful of people who did experience some skin sensitivity and irritation with this product but for me personally it truly lived up to the hype □ This is the sunscreen that truly made me look forward to applying sunscreen daily, and a really generous healthy amount at that. My skin has really been enjoying this routine recently and I’ve also found a lot of gratification being able to finish up my skincare products more frequently! Super happy that I’ve actually been very disciplined about keeping up with my Skin Cycling routine, and I also think Skin Cycling allows me to rotate through and try new products at a faster rate. I also feel like I have some commitment issues so I tend to get bored of sticking to the same routine for long…īut that all changed when I discovered □□□□ □□□□□□□! ☺️ ![]() So I used to be pretty lazy when it comes to skincare… I had phases where I’d feel super motivated to try out new products, but those never last and after some time I’d typically lapse back into doing the bare minimum for myself haha. ![]()
